As a DJ Roy Davis Jr. commands dance-floors and festival stages all over the world with his tight and masterful mixing at places like Smart Bar in Chicago, Yellow in Japan and Fabric in London. Initially turned on to the possibilities of dance music by DJ Pierre, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Marshall Jefferson, and Lil’ Louis, Roy started spinning himself at the age of 12 and during the early 19902 was asked to work as and A&R scout for Strictly Rhythm in New York.
